Früher schaute man auf die Bewohner der Galaxis in Isolation: Sterne, Molekülwolken, dichte Kerne. Mittlerweile hat man gelernt, dass das, wie in der Ökologie der Biosphäre auf der Erde, nicht das komplette Bild ist: alles ist verbunden und beeinflusst sich gegenseitig. Ich möchte dieses moderne Bild kurz vorstellen.
